we're the slaves to Google gods the touchscreen has replaced the knob, indefinitely... until the next release when implants in our arms & eyes adjust the way we see the skies, artificially. neurology are these human parts inside, or is evolution just the next step to becoming A.I.? Ray Kurzweil & Deep Thought join the incoming onslaught of machines, hypocrisy; in preservation of ourselves are we just building our own cells, of humanity? incoming. sprained thumb & pinky, clothed arm extension completes the sleeve of the modern attention. biological boy scout drowned in digital dugouts clicking away from the moment with each new intention

colorblind 04:27
How would life be If we were all colorblind? No hues to segregate No hatred misaligned. Imagine we are all the same Cause behind this fabric We are only one brain Visually engaged in a struggle with ourselves So throw your tongues to the ground And exit from this hell. I wish we were all colorblind We need to shed this hate It's only in our minds I wish we were all colorblind There is no race, we can't lose If we leave no one behind. How could life be If we just dropped the gun, No bullets congregate In the the hearts of our loved ones Imagine we are all the same Cause behind the trigger Is a weak heart to blame Misplaced anger In a struggle with ourselves So throw your arms to the ground And exit from this hell Humanity is in its infancy Suffering from hypocrisy Strong in the head But weak at the knees

I ask myself, is this the real life? it's not a hell, the walls are just a little tight. is selfishness really a downfall? should I identify with the crucifix on the wall? these things I ask myself, so I can carry on (and on and on and on), I'll just tell myself, what I need to hear. crack in the mind, a realistic lack of faith. contemplate, while your family sit & waits. and though I've strayed far from my goals, it's not about the path, it's about the love you hold so close. the things we hold so close, just get torn away, so what will matter the most, on this timeline from day to day?

Pencils dulled
Frozen fingertips
 Splintered grip,
As liquid doesn’t.
 Throw down,
 Might as well,
 It’s really just you
 In a different skin,
 Think about all your flaws,
 Coming to relentlessly haunt you;
 The form is irrelevant,
It’s the lesson that matters,
 The one you’re not learning,
The one I’m not learning.

lessons 05:33
I would think, we'd have learned by now. I would think, we'd have learned by now. The risk we take, move along without knowing how. The steps we've made, in a path that's yet to be found. I've had it all, I've never had enough, when I fall, it's never been this rough. I'm learning how to read the signs, I'm learning how to take my time. In a fast paced maze with no escape, I'm learning that I've lost my mind. I would think you'd have learned by now, Jaded sight can't see the loop That you're caught in now.

about

Just over a year after the release of Appleseed's debut album "Metanoia," "Color Blind" emerges in a wash of landscapes to be slowly and methodically torn away in a descent into pure synthesis. syncopated counter-rhythms chop against the current of a sonic mania. filters ringing in your cochlea, only to reveal the grand-wave beneath the matrix, rolling in the rhythmic ebb and flow, crashing against the shore, and retracting only to be born again.
